hi in this video were going to show you how to automatically delete emails that are past a certain age in Gmail so that way you dont have to go through all your pages and pages of email and start checking boxes and delete them all manually so lets say we want to delete everything thats older than six months so here we have stuff going back to January in the main back to last year there nothing there back to February here so what were going to do is were going to create a filter so were not going to do it from here were going to go to the settings see all settings and then we want filters and blocked addresses so the filter were going to use is this guy here older than x where X is the amount or how far back you want to delete so lets say we want to go six months back so we go 6 M so anything older than six months will get deleted then you could do one y for one year or 30d for 30 days a second I think so well copy this create a new filter now where it says has the words wer
