To improve your Windows performance and free up hard drive space, you need to clean up temporary files and cache files. These files are important for efficient running of Windows but can cause issues if they become corrupt. Start by creating a Windows restore point by typing "restore" in your Windows search and clicking on "create a restore point." Then configure how much space previous restore points are taking up on your hard drive.
