You can delete a report if you no longer need it. Open the report you want to delete. Click Delete. Click OK.
Individually while in a report, you can click the drop down arrow on Save to access the menu. Delete option will be there.
After you persist records in the database, you can delete those records using the delete operation. Deleted records arent deleted permanently from Salesforce, but they are placed in the Recycle Bin for 15 days from where they can be restored.
