To remove conditional formatting from a range of formatted cells, select the range and in the Ribbon, go to Home Conditional Formatting Clear Rules Clear Rules from Selected Cells. As a result, all formatting rules are now cleared. Conditional formatting can also be removed from the entire sheet at once.
To apply the formatting, you simply go to the Home tab Conditional Formatting Highlight Cell Rules and select A Date Occurring. Select one of the date options from the drop-down list in the left-hand part of the window, ranging from last month to next month.
There are a few ways to remove conditional formatting but keep the effects. One way is to use the Clear Rules feature. To do this, select the cells that have the conditional formatting that you want to remove. Then, go to Home Styles Clear Rules.
If you want to remove conditional formatting or formula from just one cell at a time, you can simply right click on the cell and click on remove conditional formatting from the cell. Removing conditional formatting from each cell separately can be a very time-consuming process.
Remove Conditional Formatting Click the Home tab. Select Conditional Formatting. Select Clear Rules. Click Clear Rules from Selected Cells.
There are a few ways to remove conditional formatting but keep the effects. One way is to use the Clear Rules feature. To do this, select the cells that have the conditional formatting that you want to remove. Then, go to Home Styles Clear Rules.
You can clear the conditional formatting from a selected range by clicking on the HOME tab, then in the Styles group, selecting Conditional Formatting Clear Rules Clear Rules from Selected Cells. This is useful if you have conditional formatting within the worksheet that you wish to retain.
To remove conditional formatting from specific cells, select the cells, click the Quick Analysis button, and click Clear Format. To remove all conditional formatting from the entire worksheet,click the Conditional Formatting button on the HOME tab, point to Clear Rules, and click Clear Rules from Entire Sheet.
