If you have multiple comments and you want to remove all comments at once, click on the dropdown arrow under the delete button and then click on Delete all comments in Document. You cannot cancel the proforma but you can change the status of the same. Go to VF02, give the proforma reference and select Billing document -- Complete. By doing so, the status would change to Cancelled.
