whats up guys this is jeff benjamin with IDB im going to show you how to delete a partition on Mac os10 first thing you want to do is launch Disk Utility and under the logical volume you should see all of your partitions here I have one for El Capitan one for Macintosh HD which is my which is my primary El Capitan is actually a test partition for the El Capitan beta you can see it right here I cant actually delete it yet though what I have to do is I have to go to the partition click the erase tab and then make sure the settings look like they are and then click the erase button right here and once you do click erase again that will completely erase that partition and now I can actually delete the partition by going back to the logical volume clicking the partition tab and then selecting the partition and then clicking the minus sign there and clicking remove just like this and now you just need to resize the primary partition just like that and then just click apply and then click
