In this case, for example, 4 people said they strongly disagree. 32 people agree with that. So based on this, I want to create a quick chart to visualize this. One option is to insert a stacked bar chart. By default, its giving me these categories on the axis. I actually want to see my questions on the axis. I have to go to Select Data and switch the row and the column. Thats one way of visualizing the survey data. Now, another method, as specified by Jon Peltier, is to use a diverging stacked bar chart. Right-click the calculated field name. Click Delete in the dropdown list.
Change PivotTable Calculations Click any cell inside the PivotTable. Click the Analyze tab on the ribbon. Click the Active Field button on the ribbon. Click Field Settings. The Value Field Settings dialog box appears. Select the type of calculation you want to use. Click OK.
To remove a field, in the PivotTable Field List clear the check box of the field you want to remove In the Choose fields to add to report box. One can use the areas section (at the bottom) of the Field List to rearrange fields the way they want by dragging them between the four areas.
Instead of going to the Analysis menu, right click on the field itself in the Dimension or Measures section and select Delete.
To delete an entire Pivot Table quickly, click anywhere in the table, press Cmd + A (Mac) or Ctrl + A (PC), and then press the Delete key. If you want to keep the calculations from your Pivot Table but remove the table formatting, you can copy the data and paste it using Paste Values.
Pick a cell anywhere in the PivotTable to show the PivotTable Tools on the ribbon. Click Analyze Select, and then pick Entire PivotTable. Press Delete.
On the Analyze tab, in the Calculations group, click Fields, Items, Sets, and then click Calculated Field or Calculated Item. In the Name box, select the field or item that you want to delete. Click Delete.
