Now, that Ive had time to see how it works, to interact with the company, and monitor my publicly available data, I wanna give you an update on what I think and suggestions on what you can do. And to make this as useful as possible, I wanna show you around my DeleteMe dashboard, give you a peek at some of the reports that Ive been given, and then answer five questions that I get all the time about using DeleteMe. Contact us
Go to the ID.me sign-in page, then select Create an ID.me account. Enter an email address you have access to and choose a strong password. Accept the terms of use and privacy policy, then select Create account. If prompted, confirm your email address and/or set up multi-factor authentication.
Go to the 2-Step Verification section of your Google Account. Select Show codes. Select Get new codes.
Please note that Members may only use their ID.me account to verify their own identity, and any use by a party other than the Member, to verify the Members identity or to receive any benefits or Discounts, will be considered a material misrepresentation.
Note: You can only have one ID.me account, which can be used with all of our partners.
Turn off 2-Step Verification On your Android phone or tablet, open your devices Settings app Google. Manage your Google Account. At the top, tap Security. Under Signing in to Google, tap 2-Step Verification. You might need to sign in. Tap Turn off. Confirm by tapping Turn off.
Identity verification If you have a Verified Identity card in your ID.me Wallet that looks like the below shown card, this verification wont expire. Other cards in your ID.me Wallet, including community verifications, may expire.
At the end of seven days, your account is permanently deactivated. After seven days, you may use the same email address to create a new ID.me account. None of the information from your previous account can be recovered, you will be required to provide all necessary information in order to re-verify.
Open the authenticator app on your mobile device, select Edit accounts, and then delete your account from the authenticator app. Your account is completely removed from the authenticator app for mfa and password reset requests.
