Update credentials in Excel Open Excel and select the Data tab. Select the correct URL to the OData Feed and select Edit. In the next Data Source Settings dialog, select the Edit button under the Credentials setting. Edit the credentials as noted above, select Save, then Done, then Close.
Remove restrictions On the Review tab, under Protection, select Permissions, and then select No Restrictions. In the dialog box, select Remove Restrictions.
If you want to remove read-only from the Excel document, go to Save As Tools General Options and delete the password from the dialog window as well as the checkmark next to Read-only recommended.
On the info page, click on the Protect Workbook box. Select the Encrypt with Password button from the drop-down menu. Delete the password from the pop-up window that appears so the text box is blank. Then, click the OK button to remove the password from your Excel spreadsheet.
All you have to do is open the desired workbook and click on the Unprotect Sheet, which will remove the password. To change the password, click on Protect Workbook and type and confirm the new password.
On the info page, click on the Protect Workbook box. Select the Encrypt with Password button from the drop-down menu. Delete the password from the pop-up window that appears so the text box is blank. Then, click the OK button to remove the password from your Excel spreadsheet.
Click Credential Manager. In the Windows Credentials and Generic Credentials section, remove all stored credentials referencing the Office 365 or Microsoft Office: Select the Credential. Click Remove.
