in our previous video we covered adding a new field to the contract template in this video well cover removing a field from the contract template lets get started well go to the template builder choose the template we want to edit in this case the contract and notice that we have a selection of active fields available to us will locate the field that we would like to remove from the contract template and simply uncheck it system will ask you whether you truly want to delete the field will click ok and thats it that field has been removed any data thats been pre inserted into the field will be removed as well so do put pay particular attention to this and finally well just make sure that we save and update the template and thats it weve just deleted or removed a field from the contract template

How Do You Legally Amend a Contract? Always put the contract amendment in writing and ensure that both parties sign the amendment. In the amendment, refer to the original contract, the parties, and the date on which the original contract was signed. Attach the amendment to the original contract.
After a sales agreement expires you cant edit any values. If the expiration process fails, you can change the status manually to expired. In a sales agreements record, go to the Details tab. Select a status corresponding to the Expired status code from the Status picklist.
To create an amendment quote, click Amend on your contract or Amend Contract on your opportunity. Salesforce CPQ creates an amendment opportunity and amendment quote. The amendment quote contains all the products from the order you contracted. You can adjust the quantities of these products or add new products.
I got the solution to this, we need to remove the Quote value from the Order record. Then we can deactivate the ORDER and then delete the record.
Delete a contract type: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Contract Type. Click Contract Type. Click the down arrow next to the contract type that you want to delete and then click Delete.
When you amend a contract, you change the original contract in some way. This can include adding, deleting, or correcting portions of the contract. The contract amendment does not replace the entire contract, but often substitutes a part of it.
To delete an activated Contract, Users need the Delete Activated Contracts profile permission and Read permissions on the Accounts object (more about Deleting Contracts). To delete a Contract, click Del next to the Contract on the Contracts list page.
