If you want to remove an agent you must: make a request through MyEnquiries in MyAccount. make a request in writing to your local Revenue office.
If you file Form 1040-NR, you have the option of providing an alternative mailing address outside the United States for the refund check. If you move or change the physical address where a paper check will be mailed, make sure you file Form 8822, Change of Address.
Please note that you will need a separate Government Gateway User ID and password if you want to access services as: an individual (for example so that you can file a personal tax return) and. an organisation (for example to register for PAYE for Employers).
To remove agent authorisation for these services: Log into your business tax account. Go to Manage account at the top of the page. Select View agent account history or remove a tax agent. Select Who can deal with HMRC for you. Select Remove authorisation. Select Yes to confirm you wish to remove the agent.
Notification of a change of address for a tax agent can sometimes be made online but you may need to write to the Central Agent Authorisation Team to tell HMRC about changes to your: business name. business address.
You can call HMRC on 0300 200 3310 and inform them youre no longer self-employed, or many have found the simplest way to do it is to de-register as self-employed online. Youll need the following to hand: Your National Insurance Number. Unique Tax Reference (UTR).
