Markdown provides simple tags to format text for emphasis as well as super- and subscripting: *italics* produces italics. **bold** produces bold. ~~strikethrough~~ produces strikethrough. `code` produces code. text^super^ produces text. super text~sub~ produces text. sub
Once you have created a new markdown cell, you can change the color of the cell by adding a CSS style to the cell. To do this, you need to use the HTML tag and the CSS background-color property.
Here are the most common formatting options in Discord using Markdown: For italics, put text between a pair of single asterisks, as in *italics* . For bold, put text between two pairs of asterisks, as in **bold** . For bold italics, put text between two sets of three asterisks, as in ***bold italics*** .
To bold text, add two asterisks or underscores before and after a word or phrase. To bold the middle of a word for emphasis, add two asterisks without spaces around the letters. I just love **bold text**.
Use the following code to emphasize text: Bold text: string or **string**
The Markdown syntax has no built-in method for changing text colors. We can use HTML and LaTeX syntax to change the formatting of words: For HTML, we can wrap the text in the tag and set color with CSS, e.g., text . For PDF, we can use the LaTeX command \textcolor{}{} .
Select the text that you want to make bold, and do one of the following: Move your pointer to the Mini toolbar above your selection and click Bold. . Click Bold. in the Font group on the Home tab. Type the keyboard shortcut: CTRL+B.
Markdown doesnt allow you to change the color of text, but if your Markdown processor supports HTML, you can use the HTML tag. The color attribute allows you to specify the font color using a colors name or the hexadecimal #RRGGBB code.
