Welcome to the community. Pass Through is the default blending mode of a layer group, which means that the group has no blending properties of its own (See this article for more info). Could you check if you have any filters or color effects added to your layers in Photoshop?
When a group is set to Pass Through (the default blend mode for groups), each layer in the group blends with all layers and groups that appear underneath it in the Layers listincluding layers in other groups. Pass Through is available only for groups.

Max (Lighten) (Advanced) Does the opposite of the Min (Darken) mode. It takes two images and combines them by choosing the brightest pixel from each pair of corresponding pixels in the two images. For each spot in the combined image, it looks at the same spot in both original images and picks the brighter color.
The Passthrough Blend Mode works by blending the current layer with the layers below it, rather than replacing them. This means that any changes made to the current layer will not affect the layers below it, and vice versa.
