hi everyone in this short video i will show you how to transfer material from a source document into the template many chairs ask their students to work on only one chapter at a time or only one section at a time in that case once that chapter or section is finished you can transfer it to the template what i encourage you to do is prepare the chapter or the section before you bring material in as i have shown here notice that iamp;#39;ve inserted all of the level one headings for chapter one of this dissertation template if you choose not to prepare the headings then you can copy them in from the source or you can type them in clean as body text and then tag them in the template document as i have done here so first of all before you get started make sure when youamp;#39;re doing formatting work to turn on the pilcrow in both the template document and the source document notice that in the source document the margins are one inch all around which is standard for a word docume
