a past client of mine is going through a situation uh related to uh the probate of an estate and heamp;#39;s going through this in another state so i practice in new york so he shared with me some some of his situation and a will was put forward put forth for probate and he believes that the signature on the will is not a valid signature itamp;#39;s a forgery so this individual has done is he has checks signed from the month before the will was dated and the month after the will was dated so hereamp;#39;s a series of checks from the uh you know negotiated checks and now heamp;#39;s in the process of hiring a uh handwriting expert to demonstrate that the will presented for probate was doctored so now part of that the issue is this this will that was put forth was a will from the internet and then there are two witnesses and uh the alleged signature now since this personamp;#39;s a past client heamp;#39;s on my email uh subscription list so i send that a newsletter and he told me j

The Burn Tool Launch GIMP and open the image file with the line that you want to darken. Click the Fuzzy Select tool and then click on the line you want to darken so that it is selected. Click the Dodge/Burn tool on the toolbox or use the Shift-D keyboard shortcut.
Top layer at 100% opacity using Burn mode. Burn mode inverts the pixel value of the lower layer, divides that by the pixel value of the upper layer, then inverts the result. It tends to make the image darker, somewhat similar to Multiply mode.
Click and drag the Burn brush over the line that you want to darken. Every pass of the Burn brush darkens the line. Repeatedly drag the burn brush over the line until you are satisfied with the results.
1 Correct answer You can darken it by duplicating the layer several times , and setting the layer blending mode to darken. Then, flatten the layers. Open a solid color adjustment layer above the signature layer and select the new color. Click the color button in the Fill Sign menu and choose your desired color.
2 Answers Set the foreground color to dark blue (the color that will replace black), the background color to white. Set the image to RGB mode if not already such: ImageModeRGB. Set the current gradient to FG to BG (RGB) (fourth from top in Gradients list) ColorsMapGradient map.
