If there is more than one light source, there will be several shadows, with the overlapping parts darker, and various combinations of brightnesses or even colors. The more diffuse the lighting is, the softer and more indistinct the shadow outlines become until they disappear.
You get two shadows when the light is coming from two main sources, maybe two different street lamps.
Shadow interference is a phenomenon that occurs when two light sources create overlapping shadows, resulting in a visible pattern of light and dark areas.
with little to no space for light to pass through. that means that object is considered opaque, meaning no light is able to pass through. and if that happens, the resulting shadow is either dark to completely black.
How come some shadows are darker than others? - Quora. Its not that the shadow is darker, its that the contrast between the lighted area is more profound usually because the light outside the shaded area has a higher brightness than times when the light source is more diffuse and so makes the shadow seem less intense
The general rule is that the darker the shadow, the brighter the light source. Shadows become softer or lighter as the object is drawn further away from a light source.
You can try to add a reflection probe and light probes to the scene so that the ambient light in the room matches the room and not the global one. Check your ambient light settings. You might want to turn it down. However you can not have different ambient light settings for subsections of your scene.
