If conditioning alone doesnt eliminate the scuffs, polishing may be able to finish the job. Whereas conditioner focuses on maintaining leathers softness and texture, polishing is more focused on leathers appearance. It adds a shine to the outside surface. For fixing scuffs, use a colored polish.
Dab the scuff with white vinegar. Dip a cotton swab or ball into distilled white vinegar. Dab the scuffed area to gently swell the leather. Let the area dry, then buff it with a colorless shoe polish. Try using vinegar on scuffed shoes or a handbag.
