Most of you have probably seen some of these before, theyamp;#39;re QR Codes, right? Well, not exactly. Technically only this one is a QR Code. The rest are different codes that you maybe have never heard of, like this one which is called a Data Matrix code and this one youamp;#39;ll see in some places, especially in electronics. For example, if I open up this old HP laptop theyamp;#39;re all over the place. I think I counted about seven of them and you may have even tried scanning these with your phone thinking it was a QR Code before out of curiosity, and it didnamp;#39;t work and you never really thought anything about it. All of these different types of codes are called either Matrix barcodes or just 2D barcodes and theyamp;#39;re used for all sorts of stuff, having URLs or just storing product information, even allowing you to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot. And today Iamp;#39;m going to turn you into an expert on all of the most popular ones, and I

3 | Skip a dark background When the background is darker than the QR Codes foreground, its called an inverted Code. These types of Codes typically have a dark background such as black, navy or dark grey. While a few scanners can read an inverted Code, some apps are not able to scan them.
No, there is no compulsion to use a white background for a QR code.
The important thing is to make sure that the colour used for the bars is a pure colour, and not one that is created using a four (or more colour) printing process. You must also make sure that you never reverse-out the image, putting white bars on a black background, because this will not work.
Do not invert QR Code Colors. We see this mistake a lot. QR codes with a black or dark background and a white or lighter foreground may look great in some design scenarios, but they cant be scanned with all QR Code scanner apps.
Use Uniqodes background customization feature to alter your QR Codes background and reflect your brand. Bring your brand to your QR Codes with Uniqodes QR Code background customization. Pick a custom color, upload an image, or opt for a transparent background.
If youd like to edit the external look of your QR Codes, you can do so for both Dynamic and Static QR Codes. QR Codes made with QR Code Generator PRO can be customized with colors, logos, different edge styles, patterns, and custom frames with an editable CTA (call to action).
To change the QR code color in Photoshop, open your image in Photoshop first and follow the steps below: 1. Make sure the layers panel is on (If not, go to Window Layers) 2. Select the layer which contains the QR code image 3. Go to Select Color Range 4.
