1:32 8:29 So in this case were just gonna move this. One. Right there there you go i think it looks fineMoreSo in this case were just gonna move this. One. Right there there you go i think it looks fine maybe slightly. More in the front. Cool so right now im just using the two pair zoom.
Lighting your subject from the front creates a less directional look than lighting from the side or the back, and the latter two are better suited to a dark and moody style. If youre shooting outdoors, the dim light of late evening into dusk is excellent for a dark and moody look.
Open Camera . In low-light situations, Night mode turns on automatically. Tap. at the top of the screen to turn Night mode off and on. To experiment with Night mode, tap , tap. Tap the Shutter button, then hold your iPhone still to take your shot.
Next, go to Image Adjustments Levels. We see three toggles. By moving the toggles to the right, we darken the image. Below, I moved the middle toggle to the right a docHub amount to darken the sky, and then I moved the rightmost toggle to the left to bring a small amount of brightness back into the clouds.
Camera settings To get plenty of light on your subject, start with a low f-stop setting. Experiment with everything from 1.4 to 4. If the background isnt dark enough, you can narrow your lens aperture a bit by raising it to around 6. This limits the light entering the lens, making the background darker.
Set your cameras ISO to a low level, from 100 to 125. This decreases the cameras sensitivity to light, which will darken your photos background and remove unwanted texture. Adjust your shutter speed to compensate for these changes.
