The latexcolors package depends on the xcolor package. It automatically loads xcolor without any options. The list below shows all the colors defined by latexcolors with their names, ordered by their hue. To use one of the colors, simply use \color{} where is one of the color names listed below.
To change the background color, you can use the command \pagecolor{mentioned-color}. This command colors the background of a whole page. To color the background of the text, you can use the \colorbox{mentioned-color}{text} command.
The \titleformat{} command sets the formatting (text fonts and label style) for the mentioned section, i.e., chapters and sections. The \color{rgb:red,4;green,3;yellow,2} command specifies the color for the chapter title using the rgb color model.
Example usage \textcolor{red}{easily} : Changes the color of inline text. This command takes two parameters, the color to use and the text whose color is changed. In the example the word easily is printed in red .
Enable colour by putting into the preamble \usepackage{xcolor}. The following, along with black and white, are the core colours. They are switched in by the command \color{name}: the scope is delimited by braces or by the current environment. One may produce colours between any of these by using !
Global definition: use the \definecolor com- mand: \definecolor{color1}{rgb}{n1,n2,n3} \definecolor{color2}{cmyk}{n1,n2,n3,n4} then use these custom colors with the syntax above: {\color{color1}text in color1} \textcolor{color2}{text in color2} See examples in the next section.
Adding colors to your text is supported by the xcolor package (supersedes package color). Using this package, you can set the font color, text background, or page background. You can choose from predefined colors or define your own colors using RGB, Hex, or CMYK.
\textcolor{red}{easily} : Changes the color of inline text. This command takes two parameters, the color to use and the text whose color is changed. In the example the word easily is printed in red .
