By adding the stroke() and fill() functions before something is drawn, we can set the color of any given shape. There is also the function background(), which sets a background color for the window. Heres an example. Stroke or fill can be eliminated with the functions: noStroke() and noFill().
To apply color to text in OpenOffice.org Writer, you select the text, then click and hold down on a text color icon, find the color you want, and click the color. (Note that right now before the color is applied, the color under the A of the font color icon is white.)
Changing layout paper background color: Open the Options Display tab Click Colors Select Context: Sheet/Layout. Select Interface element: Paper background. Modify the color from Color list.
Visual Method Click the paragraph you want to indent, or click and drag your mouse to highlight multiple paragraphs. Drag the bottom left triangle on the top ruler bar to indent the left side of the paragraph or selected text. Drag the bottom right triangle on the ruler to indent to the right side of the text.
Select Format Page from the menu bar and choose the Background tab. Make sure the Presentation Styles icon is selected in the Styles and Formatting window, right-click Background and select Modify from the pop-up menu.
Font and Paragraph Settings Next to the font settings is the Paragraph Alignments. Most of your papers will be set to Left Align, though titles are usually Center Align. To the right is the Bullets and Numbering options. To change your line spacing, click on the Format tab, then click Paragraph.
The first and simplest way to change the background color is by using inline CSS, which appears in the HTML code itself. To use inline CSS, find the opening tag of the element you want to target, then add the attribute style=background-color: yourcolorhere;.
To change the default colors for items, click the down-arrow in the Color Setting column by the name of the item and select a color from the pop-up box. To save your color changes as a color scheme, click Save , type a name in the Scheme box; then click OK .
