To generate a lighter or darker color using JavaScript, you can use the HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness) color model. First, convert your color from RGB or HEX to HSL. Then, adjust the lightness value to make the color lighter or darker. Finally, convert the color back to RGB or HEX.
HEX color code is #040273 and the RGB is 4, 2, 115 Deep Blue is a very dark blue that looks like a bowl of plump and ripe blueberries. Its deep blue hue is a color that is often seen in logo designs for companies that want to convey a sense of trust, stability, intelligence, and superiority.
The easiest way to make dark blue paint is by mixing black paint into blue paint a little at a time. The more black you add, the darker the blue paint will become. Alternatively, you can mix orange paint into blue paint a little at a time until you get a darker shade of blue.
On the outer bands of the color wheel, dark blue is often used to represent elegance, authority, and intelligence. Its hex code is #00008B.
To get a darker color the simplest way to go about it is lowering the values of R, G and B by the same proportion (ie 10%).
Dark blue color codes Hex#00008B RGB r: 0, g: 0, b: 139 HSL h: 240, s: 100%, l: 27% HSV h: 240, s: 100%, v: 55% CMYK c: 100%, m: 100%, y: 0%, k: 45%
Color conversion The hexadecimal color #0000FF, known as blue, has RGB values of R:0, G:0, B:255 and CMYK values of C:100, M:100, Y:0, K:0.
Lightening or darkening a color in CSS involves adjusting the lightness parameter of the HSL color format. This parameter ranges from 0% (black) to 100% (white). By increasing the lightness value, you can make the color lighter and by decreasing it, you can darken a color.
