To do this, simply go to your adjustments panel and add a Hue/Saturation layer. Toggle the box that says Colorize and start adjusting the hue to the specific color you want. If your object is a lighter shade, you may need to adjust the lightness by making your selection darker to get the richness of color you want.
On your phone, open the Settings app. Tap Display. Turn Dark theme on or off.

There are three basic ways to darken images: through brightness, contrast, or saturation. Brightness refers to the presence of light; turning it down reduces the light to darken image. This is a good easy fix for overexposed (i.e., over bright) images.

Use a black backdrop. Use a grey card. Use an external light meter. Use spot metering mode. Blacken the backdrop using flags. Look for shadow areas. Create a black background using a Speedlight. Change the color of the background using Photoshop.
Use Portrait Mode: When taking a photo, use Portrait Mode and select Stage Light Mono. This will automatically darken the background and turn it black while keeping your subject illuminated. Edit in Photos App: Open the photo you want to edit, tap on Edit and select the BW filter.
