[Applause] hello this is Mike from Fair Repair and today we have a new device on my bench compared to what I have us usually on my bench this is actually a really rare and antique device um this is a Dell XPS m710 and uh if I remember correct this is actually one of these devices which suffered from the so-called Nvidia bumpgate issue so this has the gpus the Nvidia gpus inside with suffers from insufficient Edge bonding I mean underfill between the D of the GPU and the substrate between the between the square and the green stuff yeah and um yeah these gpus have died a lot and um it was in the news and Nvidia got a lot of bad feedback about this of course absolutely right uh what a mess and yeah um this was the time from where the idea originated to bake a GPU in the oven you know the OV in the kitchen this is the time where the people had the idea to bake the GPU in the OV and actually it worked for this generation of gpus it worked but um it worked maybe for one day o
