Go to File Options Calendar. Under Display Options, select Default calendar color, select the color that you want, and then select the Use this color on all calendars check box.
Step 2: Block out vacation time on your calendar In Calendar, on the Home tab, click New Appointment. In the Subject box, type a name for your time away. In Start time and End time, click the dates when your time away starts and ends. Select the All day event check box. Change the Show As setting to Out of Office.
