hi there this is award-winning author and illustrator Andrew Sanders and today I am going to show you how to do something very simple but very important in Photoshop and that's how to make your line drawings darker and to make your backgrounds brighter where we do it is by opening up the Photoshop we go file and open click on the image we wants and you can see here if i zoom in by pressing command + + that's ctrl + + if you're on a PC my image here it's got very very light dark lines they're almost grey so what I'm gonna do is go to image and adjustments what I'm gonna do is I'm going to change my levels and if you pull in you'll find your dark lines get darker and your white gets whiter it's very important that you change the input levels not the output levels okay if you do that and hit OK you're now left with white outline that's our white backgrounds a black outlines as simple as that
