hi guys this is avi from gokuche design in this video youamp;#39;re going to learn how to use gradient mask to darken the sky in docHub photoshop start by duplicating your background layer next change the blend mode of this new layer to one from the darken group iamp;#39;m going to select color burn for this image since we only want the top half of the image darken iamp;#39;m going to click on the layer mask button and choose the gradient tool from the left menu select black comma white from the gradient drop down and make sure the reverse check box is checked now hold the shift key and draw a gradient line from top to the bottom remember in context of layer masks white means show and black means hide hence the color burn effect is mostly applied to the top of the image and it fades as you move to the bottom if you want to go one step further click on the new adjustment layer button and choose color lookup select the crisp winter profile from the lookup table drop down to add a drama
