1- Levels adjustment: First, well use a Levels adjustment to make the darks even darker: Create a Levels adjustment layer. Move the black point slightly to the right, to bring even more darks in the shadows and almost fully hide the shirt. Here I used a value of 10.
Create a new layer. Pick a paint brush with a nice soft edge. Set your brush colour to black. Paint away the areas you want black.
Next, go to Image Adjustments Levels. We see three toggles. By moving the toggles to the right, we darken the image. Areas of the image are darkened by the Burn tool. The Burn tool makes an area darker the more times you paint over it. Click and hold the symbol for the active Dash, Burn, and Sponge retouching tool from the toolbar.
