okay so im going to show you how to make a quick vignette in photoshop start by using your selection tool and if you want a rectangular vignette obviously you choose a rectangle im going to choose an elliptical marquee tool which is what i most commonly use for a vignette and just drag roughly from the upper left corner to the lower right corner or whatever corners you choose as long as theyre opposite im going to go to select and mask while i still have my selection tool enabled this is going to allow me to soften that line to make it a nice smooth gradient so im going to use this feather that comes up in the panel on the right im going to use that to soften it as much as i like i like to go pretty soft shift edge down here will allow you to do exactly what it sounds like shift it in or out from the middle of the selection when im ready and i like what i have go ahead and click ok and then from here ill go to select an inverse so that now were actually selecting the outer pa
