today I wanted to talk to you about old frames and we have two different pieces here these are both done by Mary Russell Farrell Colton this one on my left shows an original vintage frame this one on my right shows a frame that we actually had made to look like it now they look similar but youamp;#39;ll notice there is a patina on this one thatamp;#39;s kind of a darker color which youamp;#39;ll often see in older frames and then if we flip them around you can really see the difference one thing youamp;#39;ll notice is just they both have the old wire this one has a wire this one has new wire you can see the difference also if youamp;#39;ll just look you can see on this particular painting how the wood and Iamp;#39;ll just put this one down for right now the wood on this is darker itamp;#39;s patina okay and that happens over oxidization so over time oxygen is going to make wood turn a nice honey-colored Brown and thatamp;#39;s whatamp;#39;s happened youamp;#39;ll als
