if youamp;#39;re typing some formulas and equations into google docs knowing how to type an exponent or use the superscript function will make your task so much easier hereamp;#39;s a few methods that you can try open your browser and navigate to the google document file that you want to edit next click on the part of the document where you want to insert the exponent click on insert from the toolbar at the top and from the drop down menu select equation a small box will appear after youamp;#39;ve chosen your insertion point in that field you can use a carrot which is the symbol that looks kind of like an inverted v to type an exponent usually the keyboard shortcut for this is shift and the number six for example you can type in a number and once you press the caret symbol on your keyboard youamp;#39;ll immediately see the line indicator move to the exponent or superscript field now you can type in your exponent for an alternative way to do this you can use the superscript

Change the color of cells, tables, and text boxes On your computer, open a file in one of the following programs: Google Docs. Click the text box or highlight the cells you want to edit. In Google Sheets, conditional formatting allows you to dynamically change a cells text style and background color based on custom rules you set. Every rule you set is created using an if this, then that statement.
Use conditional formatting rules in Google Sheets On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select the cells you want to apply format rules to. Click Format. Conditional formatting. Create a rule. Single color: Under Format cells if, choose the condition that you want to trigger the rule. Click Done.
Use the BGHEX() function in your spreadsheet to get the Hex code of any cells background color. For example, entering the formula =BGHEX(ROW(B1), COLUMN(B1)) results in the Hex code #000000, which is the Hex code for the color black.
