hereamp;#39;s a quick and dirty way to line up equations first we need an equation and so Iamp;#39;ll use one of the built-in equations letamp;#39;s use the quadratic formula and here it is on left justification say I want to Center it and then I want the number on the right side so first thing I want to do is change this tabs tab stop from a left tab to a center tab and Iamp;#39;m going to put that at three point two five which is the center of this particular document and then Iamp;#39;m gonna do another tab stop on the right so I clicked this to turn it to a right tab stop and Iamp;#39;ll put that over there now Iamp;#39;m ready to go to the beginning of this and press tab that centers the equation and on the other side of the equation I press tab again and Iamp;#39;ll put my number in and there we go now if I want to repeat this for other equations Iamp;#39;ll just copy the whole thing and paste it down here oh that did not work did it hit a newline return and there we go
