To change the font, color or size Select the text to change then go to Home and choose the options you want from the Font section. To add an image to a header or footer See Add images to a header or footer.
On the View tab, click Slide Master. At the top of the thumbnail pane, click the slide master to select it. Highlight any footer elements (such as date, footer text, or slide number) on the slide master, and then on the Home tab, choose the font formatting you want in the Font and Paragraph groups.
From your WordPress Dashboard, go to Appearance Customize Footer Footer Column section. Under the Background options, choose the Background Color or Background Image for the Footer Widgets Area.
Solution: If you cant directly edit footer text, its probably the case that the footer placeholder has been turned off in Slide Master view. To change that situation, you can open Slide Master view and make changes there, as described below. On the View tab, select Slide Master.

Click VIEW Normal, and click the slide you want to change. Click INSERT Header Footer. Click the Slide tab, make the changes you want, and click either Apply to apply the changes to the selected slides, or Apply to All to make the changes to all the slides.
To set the footer font color for the presentation, choose ViewSlide Master. In the list of thumbnails, scroll up to the larger one at the top (the actual Slide Master). Select the footer placeholder and set the font color in the HomeFont group.
Make sure that you see the word Page Footer to the upper left of the box. This will ensure that you have clicked on the correct element. Make sure the Make Changes To All Elements tab is turned on, as we want to make the color background change globally to all footers. Select the color you want use.
