so one thing I wanted to show everybody how to do is to shade a particular line to call attention to it so letamp;#39;s say I have this big large heading for my flyer and I want to put a color behind it now most people what theyamp;#39;ll do is theyamp;#39;ll try to highlight it and theyamp;#39;ll go to the highlight button and theyamp;#39;ll try to highlight it that way and what that does is it creates color just behind the actual text so it looks a little bit cramped and it doesnamp;#39;t go the full width of the page so if this were to be smaller font oops Iamp;#39;m a bigger if this were a fault a smaller font and letamp;#39;s say a deeper highlight color itamp;#39;s going to look a little bit cramped and weird so in order to properly shade it what we need to do is get rid of that highlighting so highlight and choose no color and then with our cursor inside of that heading weamp;#39;ll go up to the fill bucket which is called the shading bucket but everybody calls it the

Add shading to a table Select the cells you want to change. To select an entire table, click in the table, and then click the. On the Table Design tab (Table tab in OneNote), click the Shading menu. Under Theme Colors or Standard Colors, select the shading color you want. Or, for more color options, click More Colors.
To turn off Microsoft Word dark mode on Mac, follow these simple steps: Open Microsoft Word, go to the Preferences menu, click on General, and finally, select the Light theme.
You can apply shading using the Shading button in the Paragraph group on the Home tab. If you just click in a paragraph, the shading will be applied to the paragraph. If you select text first, the shading will be applied to the selected text.
Go to Design Page Borders. In the Borders and Shading box, design your border: Under Setting on the left, choose the border style you want. If you want to remove a border, select None.
Select the word or paragraph that you want to apply shading to. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the arrow next to Shading. Under Theme Colors, click the color that you want to use to shade your selection.
Add Cell Shading Click the Shading list arrow in the Table Tools Design tab. The shading menu will show a spectrum of colors from the current document theme as well as a few standard colors. You could also select More Colors to select a custom color or select No Color to remove existing shading. Select a color.
Text watermark Double-click near the top of the page to open the header. Move the cursor over the watermark until you see the four-headed arrow, and then click the watermark to select it. Under WordArt Tools, select Format. Select Shape Fill. Try: Selecting a lighter or darker shade. Select OK.
Go to File Account Office Theme. Open the drop-down menu and select Black. Alternatively, you can select Use system setting, which will automatically switch your Office theme based on your Windows theme.
