How to Enable Dark Mode on Desktop Open Gmail.com. Log in to your account. Go to Settings (the gear icon in the top right-hand corner). Scroll down to Themes and select View all. Scroll down to select the black rectangle. Click Save. Launch the Gmail app on your Android device.
Dark mode is enabled by default when you use the black theme. To switch to the black theme in Outlook: Go to toolbar and select File, then select Office Account. Under Office Theme, select Black.
