Check that youre using the correct key. On a laptop, its often possible to change brightness levels by holding the Fn button along with a function key. Change the brightness via the Action Center. Where is the brightness key on Windows 10 keyboard? Not all laptops have the same brightness key, but you can always adjust the brightness by holding down the Fn key and the right or left arrow key. The right arrow makes the screen brighter and the left arrow makes it darker.
