Change the color of a line On the Shape Format tab, select Shape Outline, then select the color that you want. Note: If you dont see the Shape Format tab, make sure youve selected the line. To use a color that isnt a theme color, click More Outline Colors, and then click the color you want.
How to Add More Highlight Colors to Microsoft Word Open Word and go to the Home tab. Click the arrow next to the Text Highlight Color icon in the Font group. Youll see a bunch of colors in the drop-down menu. Choose More Colors at the bottom of the list. A dialog box opens with a color wheel and different shades.
Change the outline color Go to Shape Format Text Outline, and pick the outline color. To change the width or style of the outline, select Weight or Dashes and update.
If you really want to strikethrough in a colour other than the text colour, you must use fields (see ) to overlay your text with struckthrough spaces, and format the spaces in whatever colour you want.
Click and drag your cursor through the text that you want to modify, which highlights it. Highlighting the text means that any formatting or editing tools you use are going to affect that section alone. While highlighted, click the Font color button, then the Strikethrough button. This text is now redlined.
Double-click near the top of the page to open the header. Move the cursor over the watermark until you see the four-headed arrow, and then click the watermark to select it. Under Picture Tools, select Format. Try selecting Recolor, Brightness, or Contrast.
Go to the Font tab in the Format Cells dialog box. Check the Strikethrough box. Optionally, you can make other formatting changes, such as setting a light grey font color for crossed-out entries. Click OK to close the Format Cells dialog box.
Is there a Word strikethrough shortcut? Select the text you want to strike through. Press Ctrl+D. A font dialog box will appear. Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.
