1 Answer. Open system settings, search for dark (or appearance). In the appearance select Dark and the non-document sections of the files app are dark. Thats space rendered in the PDF, not the chrome or a part of the app, @theonlygusti Great edit with a photo to show what youre seeing, btw.
2 Answers. Go to Edit- Preferences- General and under Accessibility check to see that the Document Color Options have text set to Black. Under File-Print click on the Advanced button and select the Print As Image checkbox- try printing with that set and see if it prints out darker.
Go to Edit Preferences, and click Accessibility from the available drop-down options in the Categories section. You can also use the Ctrl + K shortcut for the same. Check the box next to Replace Document Colors. Choose High-Contrast Colors, and select the one you want from the list of available drop-down options.
Increase PDF Contrast With docHub Reader Step 1 Open docHub Reader on your Windows. Step 2 In the top menu bar, choose Edit and click the Preferences option. So, start by opening the PDF document and go to the Edit PDF section. Now, double-click on the text section that you want to darken. Select text by dragging the cursor or pressing Ctrl + A to select all text in that textbox. Click the Color button present in the mini pop-up menu and select a darker color.
You probably scanned a page of a book or publication and its too bright? You can use LEVELS adjustment in any program that supports it (for example XnView) and adjust the levels to make the text black/darker, while keeping the page white.
How to Darken a PDF with docHub? Open PDF in docHub and click View, then click Preferences. Click Accessibility from the left side and check Replace Document Colors. There, you need to choose Custom Color and pick the desired color for the page background and document text options.
