One or more dots or pixels on the LCD/OLED screen appear as dark spots or as bright red, green or blue dots. What you may be seeing is one or more of the greater than 2,000,000 dots that make up the composition of the LCD or OLED screens. These dots (also known as pixels) may appear red, green, blue, white or black.
Change the color of text Select the text. Click the Format button. in the toolbar to show the Format sidebar. Click the Style button in the sidebar. Click the pop-up menu below the Font section, choose Text Color, then choose an option to pick your color:
Click in the paragraph whose text direction you want to change. If you select multiple paragraphs, the text in all of them is formatted to match the first one you selected. In the Format sidebar on the right, click the Style button near the top. Click the Text Direction button to the right of the alignment buttons.
Blue dots between words, and other blue symbols, are formatting marks (they dont appear in print). Choose View Hide Invisibles (from the View menu at the top of the screen, not from the View menu in the toolbar).
If youre dealing with unwanted paragraph symbols, heres what to do: Click the Home tab in the toolbar. Find the Paragraph section. Click the small arrow icon to expand the menu. Deselect Show/Hide or Show Formatting. The paragraph symbols should now be hidden.
Set the number of decimal places: In the Decimals field, type the number of decimal places you want to display. Pages rounds the display value instead of truncating the display value. For example, if the value in the cell is 5.75 and you set the number of decimal places for the cell to 0 (zero), Pages displays 6.
Blue dots between words Choose View Hide Invisibles (from the View menu at the top of the screen, not from the View menu in the toolbar).
Show or hide formatting marks Show invisibles: Select View Show Invisibles (from the View menu at the top of your screen). Note: The View button in the toolbar doesnt have this command. Hide invisibles: Select View Hide Invisibles.
