These cards are placed on a physical board in a designated area. Team members move the cards across the board to indicate the status and progress of each task or item. It visually represents workflow, allowing teams to track work, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively about ongoing activities.
Your TCard will be accepted as a form of payment at food outlets, the U of T Bookstore, vending machines, laundry machines, printers, photocopiers and academic departments. TCard+ Merchants vary from campus to campus, please click here for a detailed list of TCard+ Merchants available at your campus.
If you havent lost or damaged your TCard but want to replace it (e.g. to update your photo), you can obtain a new card if you pay the $20 CAD replacement fee. A new photo will be taken, unless you are a student,and your previous photo is less than two years old.
This visual management system allows workers and managers to quickly and easily see the status of work, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective action to improve efficiency and productivity.
To get a TCard, visit our office during our operational hours and bring your: TCard permission letter. Valid Government photo ID (original/unexpired/no photocopies) Documents must match the information in U of Ts record system.
Your TCard Data from/on the card is used to verify/grant access to relevant services and facilities like libraries, athletic facilities, exams, meal plans, printing services and more.
Go to the UTORid Management page at and click on the link Reactivate current staff, faculty, and student UTmail+. Follow the prompts to activate your mailbox. Wait about 3 hours before attempting to sign into your new inbox at .
If you lose or damage your TCard, the current fee for a replacement TCard is $20 CAD.
