The UML class diagram maps out the objects attributes, operations, and how they relate. The arrows that connect classes show important relationships. The arrows denote association, inheritance, aggregation, composition, dependency, and realization among others.
You can change the color or style of individual arrows using the inline following notation: #color;line.[bold|dashed|dotted];text:color.
You can use specify fill and line colors either: with its standard name or CSS name. using HEX value (6 digits): #RRGGBB. using HEX value (8 digits) with alpha compositing or RGBA color model: #RRGGBBaa. using short HEX value (3 digits): #RGB (so #ABC means #AABBCC )
Edit and customize your PowerPoint arrows Right-click on the arrow and select Format Shape from the drop-down menu. Youll now see the Format Shape pane on the right-hand side of your slide. Here you can customize your arrow under Fill Line, Effects and Size Properties.
Aggregation relationships are shown by a white diamond-shaped arrowhead pointing towards the target or parent class. A stronger form of aggregation - a composite aggregation - is shown by a black diamond-shaped arrowhead and is used where components can be included in a maximum of one composition at a time.
It is also possible to change arrow direction by adding left , right , up or down keywords inside the arrow: 🎉 Copied! You can shorten the arrow by using only the first character of the direction (for example, -d- instead of -down- ) or the two first characters ( -do- ).
Label on arrows. By default, an arrow starts at the last used activity. You can put a label on an arrow using brackets [ and ] just after the arrow definition.
