Im Cheri Soria from living light Culinary Institute and todays tip from raw food for dummies is how to cut and core a head of cabbage you know it can be kind of intimidating to cut in this cabbage so Im just going to show you how we have this side that clearly shows the core and we want to have that down then were going to cut exactly in half and that can be challenging when Ive got such a big head of cabbage but lets see how we can do that alright so just a nice clean cut right through the center core you can see its right there now Im going to make another slice right through the core so Im cutting it in quarters and I have my eye on that core so I know right where the center line is and there it is and so now I can clearly see where that core is located and I can set it set the cabbage down on my cutting board and make one slice to get rid of that core now theres still a little bit more there I can see but thats going to help hold the cabbage together while I cut it so I
