With traces and conductive pathways, you may need to coat, remove or replace the necessary material: be it copper or silver. Often, this relies on tools such as a soldering iron or heat gun. For physical or visible damage to a board, base board repair is necessary.

For and then youll need yourself a straightedge.
PCB Cutter Tool Step 1: The Cutter. Lets begin with the cutter. Step 2: The Blade. You need to modify the blade so it will form an hook shape, with a spiky point. Step 3: The Rulers. Step 4: Drill the Board. Step 5: And Insert Screws. Step 6: Assemble the Rulers. Step 7: Glue the Pad. Step 8: Test the Tickness.
What Is a Trace? Lets start with the basics; A PCB trace is a thin line of conducting copper placed on a non-conductive or isolated base material that carries the signal and power to the whole circuit. A copper trace has a specific width, which we call trace width, and has a particular height or thickness.
Use the free multimeters probe to touch a single spot on the board. Then using your finger with the foil move it over the components touching the soldered parts. Thus you will cover more area quicker and when you hear the multimeter beeping - you have found your track on the PCB.
If you mean wire, as in round stuff, almost any size will work for signal traces. Normal trace thickness is 0.002 to 0.004. Compare that to #24 awg wire = 0.020 (0.5 mm) diameter and #32 = 0.2 mm diameter. If you need insulation, I recommend Kynar. Its usually thin and quite heat stable compared to PVC.
HOW-TO: PCB Trace Repair With a Wire Jumper Step 1: Scrape away resist from repair areas. Step 2: Clean and tin exposed contact areas. Step 3: Choose a strip of wire to replace the conductor. STEP 4: Strip and tin each end of wire jumper. STEP 5: Solder one end of the wire. STEP 6: Form wire as needed.

Soldering the new pad/trace to the conductor: Use Kapton tape to place and hold the replacement pad. Use the appropriate solder alloy to make a lap joint. Clamping and curing: Clamp the new pad/trace in place and cure. Once cured, remove the clamp and clean the pad/trace with isopropyl alcohol.
