Ctrl+J is to make a duplicate layer so here we press Ctrl+J and there is a duplicate layer but if we select the object Select Object it will create selection for layer via copy press Ctrl+J here is layer via copy but for layer via cut press Ctrl+Shift+J it is layer via cut object will cut and paste on new layer these are short cuts for layer via copy and layer via cut Enjoy
