Usually, it takes 10 working days after submitting your TIN application. However, due to the backlogs in FIRS, it can take longer than the usual time frame. If you register online via joint tax board, your TIN number will be generated within 48 hours after your TIN request has been submitted.

The Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is a one-of-a-kind, system-generated number consisting of 9 to 12 digits issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to a registered individual. Any Filipino citizen can apply for free. Each TIN issued is final and does not expire.
How To Generate TIN for Individuals. Individuals can apply on the JTB website with NIN or BVN (Bank Verification Number) or visit your nearest Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) with Utility Bill, Valid ID (Government Approved) and a Passport Photograph.
To verify your TIN online, visit the BIR website and enter your full name, date of birth, and other details. The website will provide you with your TIN number and other relevant information.
Application for a TIN is done online via URA s website .ura.go.ug. Before application, an individual needs the following identifications; a National ID, drivers license and a passport. Visit the URA website and then go to e-services, Click instant TIN, Fill in the required fields and click submit.
Individual TIN Registration Process Simply log on to: tin.jtb.gov.ng on your computer or tablet or download JTB App on your mobile phone (Andriod or IOS) Click Register for TIN (Individual) Follow the simple process of registration.
