This tutorial demonstrates how to cut across a sheet of steel siding or roofing using red and green tin snips. Start with the green snips on the thin portion of the cut, running up the metal rib and switching to the red snips to bend the metal down for better access. Alternating between the red and green snips, continue cutting along the ribs until the desired line is reached. Pull up the metal at the top of the rib for easier cutting, then bend it back down and switch back to the red snips to finish the cut.
