hi everyone in this video Ill show you how to cut text to create this type of effect in Inkscape 1.0 the first thing we need to do is select the text tool and then well just left-click over in the canvas and type in some text its very small right now so well go back into the selection mode select it and well click this lock so that when we make it larger it doesnt get distorted and now we have this text we can make it the size that we want by just clicking the handles on the corners then select the text and go to path object to path that will convert it into a path then we go to object ungroup so that each letter is selected separately then we go to path Union now its all one unified path so we cant edit the text anymore we couldnt change the letters but if we go into this Bezier curve tool and well left-click each point we want so well draw four different points here at the intersection where we want to have the text cut well go back in to selection mode and select just t
