Theres been some massive cruise price hikes and big cuts. Are cruise lines going too far? Some Cruise Line Specialists have warned of a 2022 increase in cruise prices due to a range of economic factors. Were going to look at whats going to be going up in price and how it will affect the cost of your next Cruise. So number one is daily gratuities. Weve recently seen a docHub increase in gratuities. Lots of different Cruise Lines including Princess, Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean have all put their prices up and this is even though some Cruise Lines only raised gratuities as recently as six months ago. If you didnt know on the majority of cruise lines you pay something called daily gratuities. Its basically tips for the crew. Its an automatic system, it just gets added to your onboard bill daily. But with current inflation levels affecting basically everyone, its a way to lessen the impact on its crew. But obviously, its going to impact all of us

Sometimes, overnights will occur during the middle of a cruise. Other times, overnight stays are offered at a cruises embarkation port just after you board, or at a ships last port before you disembark the following day.
Feldman said cruise ships typically leave the gangway open all night for guests. You can come and go as you please, he said. And if you want to go out and, lets say, party until 3 in the morning, you can do that and then come back.
If you intend to sail on the cruise as dictated in the itinerary, and you do not return before the ship is scheduled to depart: They will leave without you. Some ships have as many as 6,600 people on board, so again - they will leave you behind.
The ship will wait for you and your group for as long as possible. Again, though, at some point, they will have to call it and keep moving. If that happens and you have yet to return to the pier, your cruise line will cover the cost of transferring all members of the group to the next port of call.
What is the cheapest time to book a cruise? Prospective cruisers can usually find a lot of good deals at the beginning of the year during wave season, Goldberg-Glazer said. That period typically lasts from January until March. However, the optimal time to book may depend on when you plan to sail.
Going forward, Norwegian will modify its 2024 itineraries that previously included Venice, replacing it with port visits to either Ravenna, Italy; Rijeka and Zadar, Croatia; or Koper, Slovenia. In 2025, the cruise line will replace stops in Venice with either a sea day or another port, depending on availability.
the ship would report you as missing to the local immigration officers and to the local police department. IF you did not make in back to the ship prior to the end of the cruise then you would get reported also to the immigration officers in the US.
ing to U.S. law, you can set sail and then disembark at a foreign port. However, although it is allowed by U.S. law, there are still foreign laws and cruise line policies to contend with. In some countries, laws prohibit cruise passengers from permanently disembarking.
