when I bought my vinyl cutter I never thought about contour cutting but I soon found out the contour cutting automates the task of cutting stickers and sign each graphics that are better printed and Colour separated into vinyl in this demonstration I will take you through the steps to get your us cutter MH 871 mk2 vinyl cutter doing contour cuts with no additional parts or kits the software Im using is vinyl master which came free with the vinyl cutter first start up final master and from the file menu select cut slant plot then the vinyl spooler to bring up the spooler from the vinyl schooler select the calibration tab then the laser offset full calibration toward the bottom of the screen you will see the Edit offsets checkbox check this box to bring up the manual offset entries since we dont have a laser positioner on our vinyl cutter we are going to be working with actual blade position ensure both the X and y offsets are 0 then save and exit the vinyl spooler we have set the cal
