howamp;#39;s it going everybody today I decided I wanted to do an experiment and see if I could use wine as a wood stain first I had to build this wine holder out of some unknown hardwood that I had then I could put all the pieces inside this large tub and cover them in the wine I used this Barefoot brand Cabernet Sauvignon which letamp;#39;s be honest makes a much better wood stain than it does a drink I spent about 15 minutes flipping the pieces over and over again brushing them every single time with a paint brush before I could take them out and put them on this drying rack they looked really cool when they were wet but I wasnamp;#39;t sure if they would still look this cool once they dried when they were finally dry they lightened up a little bit but most of the color was still there once everything was completely dry I could reassemble the wine holder and itamp;#39;s done let me know what you think

Step 1: Apply cold water to wet the stain. Step 2: Apply a small amount of high-quality liquid detergent to the stain and gently brush with a laundry brush. Let sit for 20 minutes. Step 3: Rinse again with cold water, and blot with a dry rag to remove the stain and water.
Vinegar and oxygen-based bleach are effective solutions for tackling color bleed on clothes. They work well to restore fabric dyed unintentionally without causing further damage. Mix white vinegar with an equal part of water to create a solution capable of reversing color bleed.
Start by adding cup Clorox Disinfecting Bleach to one gallon of water in a plastic dishpan. Fully submerge items in the bleach solution for up to 5 minutes. You may notice the color coming off immediately, or it may take the full 5 minutes (but dont let any item soak for longer than 5 minutes).
Rewash the Affected Clothes Confirm that the item that bled color is out of the wash load. Rewash all the stained clothes using oxygen bleach (brands include OxiClean, Nellies Oxygen Brightener, and Oxo Brite) in addition to your regular laundry detergent.
First, sprinkle baking soda over the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes to absorb the stain. Then, pour vinegar over the baking soda and let it fizz for a few minutes. Finally, rinse the garment in cold water and repeat the process as necessary until the stain is gone.
Take a white cloth and dampen it with a commercial stain remover, rubbing alcohol, hairspray, or any clear solvent that is 90% alcohol. Dab the stain with the white cloth repeatedly, and the dye should keep transferring from your garment onto the white cloth. Afterward, rinse in warm water. Proceed with normal wash.
How to Strip Stain From Wood Prep the Wood Surface. Before stripping the finish, remove all hardware and clean the wood surface with soap and water and let dry. Apply Stripping Gel. Scrape the Stripping Gel. Remove the Stripping Gel. Treat Scuffs and Holes. Sand the Wood. Clean the Surface.
Treat color stains with a mixture of mild detergent and water. Blot gently, and rinse thoroughly. Silk and Wool: Delicate fabrics require gentle care. Blot color stains with a mixture of cold water and mild soap.
